Ottawa field trials and AGM
It's the annual meeting of the whole network. We will discuss the future of robotics in Canada and the research world and other topics of interest.
This year the field trials will take place in Ottawa, ON on May 1-4. Over 100 participants from across the network will join us including our industrial and government partners, our principle investigators' research labs, our distal fellows' research labs and some of our international collaborators. The meeting is covered by network-wide intellectual property agreements and non-disclosure agreements, so the event is not open to the public although there are some exceptions (see below).
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will include presentations by partners (Companies & Government) on their activity and opportunities, technical meetings, a social event and a banquet. This year we will be also giving the opportunity to HQP led teams to pitch ideas for commercialization of existing NCFRN technologies in a startup contest. (SNEI activity)
May 1-2 are closed to non-members. Escorted visits on May 4 are available for government or media representatives by arrangement.
